Instructions for Creating Submission:
Prepare the submission, according to the following requirements:
- Single space all lines. Use manual line breaks rather than paragraph
markers within verses. Separate verses with a paragraph marker
(i.e. a hard return). Do not hyphenate words at the ends of lines. Use
tabs instead of spaces, if you wish to indent lines within a verse.
Concrete-style poetry is welcome.
- Include name of author(s), address of author(s) and term (in bold). For
pieces with multiple authors, please indicate (in bold) the name of the
primary author.
- Poems should be no longer than 200 English words. That being said,
certain terms may necessitate a longer piece, or other writing style.
- Accepted pieces may be edited; major edits will be reviewed with the
author.
- Terms in languages other than English, should be indicated in italics
(Do not underline).
Print Submission:
Print-only and fax submissions are accepted, but there will be a
translation fee if an electronic submission of your work cannot be made to
the publisher. Always phone before faxing, so that fax arrangements
can be made.
Electronic Submission:
Submit electronically, upon request by the publisher. Electronic
submissions: email attachments, or via the publisher's FTP site.
Contact the publisher by phone or email for FTP access information. Should
you not get a response to your email, phone and be prepared to leave a message
with your name and indicate your email address so that your email, which may be
considered SPAM can be filtered through to publisher's personnel.
